Hyderabad: In a significant anti-corruption operation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau has apprehended the Shamirpet Tahsildar and Executive Magistrate T. Sucharitha in connection with an alleged bribery scheme spanning Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

According to ACB officials, the Tahsildar is accused of seeking Rs 30 lakh from a resident in exchange for facilitating and authorizing NALA conversion applications pertaining to 30 acres of farmland.
