Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-25
This Privacy Policy explains how Bharasa ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website. We are a small, independent news publisher and aim to collect the minimum data necessary to run the service.
Who we are
Bharasa is operated by Unidatum Integrated Products Limited, Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, Dublin, D01 T2C9, IRELAND. Contact: contact@bharasa.in.
What we collect
When you load a page, our content delivery network (Cloudflare) records standard request logs: your IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used solely for security, abuse prevention, and infrastructure operation. Cloudflare retains them for approximately 30 days. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for their handling practices.
We do not set any first-party cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers, analytics, or advertising scripts at this time. If that changes, we will update this page and request your consent before loading non-essential scripts.
Your browser may store a small preference (light or dark theme) in its local storage. This is not transmitted to us and contains no personal data.
Lawful basis (GDPR)
We process the request logs described above on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, in line with Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it where applicable. To exercise these rights, email contact@bharasa.in. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
