In Jhatasya Maranam Dhruvam, Chohan takes on the role of a police officer navigating complex emotional and psychological terrain. The part required her to undertake substantial physical, emotional, and mental preparation. To infuse the character with credibility, she spent time observing an actual policewoman, studying her movements, perspective, and the realities of her work. For Chohan, this kind of hands-on research forms the foundation of her craft.

When asked about her attraction to demanding roles, Chohan explains her philosophy: "I've always been pulled toward characters that require me to transform. The moment I enter unfamiliar creative space, that's when I begin to develop. Every role needs to test me in some way—physically, mentally, emotionally, or psychologically—because genuine development happens there. I want each character to feel distinctly different from the ones before. My background in theatre has instilled in me a genuine passion for diving deep into a character's psychology, their motivations, their physicality, and the environment they inhabit. That shift from being myself to embodying someone else entirely—that's what makes acting feel genuinely worthwhile."

She elaborates further on what draws her to specific projects: "The roles that truly captivate me are the ones that push me outside what feels comfortable. Whether they require intensive preparation, emotional openness, or a completely different worldview, I welcome every challenge because it contributes to my evolution as both an artist and an individual. I'm particularly drawn to multidimensional lead characters that test me across emotional, psychological, and physical dimensions. My aspiration is to inhabit each role so fully that the character lingers in audiences' minds long after they leave the cinema. I want people to remember the character I brought to life, not simply see me performing on screen. When a role excites and stretches me, I recognise that it's likely the right choice. That's the calibre of storytelling and filmmaking I want to dedicate myself to."
