Hyderabad Police Arrest Three in Mailardevpally Robbery; Stolen Items Recovered

Hyderabad police have arrested three suspects in a robbery case and retrieved stolen items including a mobile phone, cash, and a two-wheeler used in the incident.

The crime took place on June 26 at approximately 9:40 pm in the Mailardevpally area. Pooja Sathy, who operates a pan shop in APCO Colony, was heading home after shutting her shop for the day when she was accosted by three individuals riding an Activa scooter. The men allegedly attacked her and made off with her VIVO mobile phone and ₹4,500 in cash before escaping.

Upon receiving Sathy's complaint, police initiated a formal investigation into the incident. Detectives employed multiple investigative techniques, including reviewing CCTV recordings, examining technical evidence, and pursuing various leads to locate the perpetrators.

On July 7, officers apprehended Mohammed Ghouse (19), Vadla Chandu (19), and Athamaraj Vikas (21). During the arrests, authorities successfully recovered the stolen VIVO mobile phone, ₹1,200 in cash, and the Activa scooter that was allegedly used during the robbery.

The investigation was overseen by ACP A. Sudhakar, with SHO Sathyanarayana, DI Maqsood Ali, and the Mailardevpally Police crime team executing the operation.
