JK Lakshmipat University Launches Eight-Day Orientation for Incoming Cohort

Jaipur: JK Lakshmipat University inaugurated Aarambh 2026 on July 14, an eight-day induction programme designed to welcome the latest cohort of design, engineering and management students to campus.
The initiative aims to facilitate a seamless entry into university life by acquainting students with the institution's academic structure, campus environment, and community. The incoming cohort represents 20 states from across India.
At the inaugural ceremony, Prem Singh, President of Group HR at JK Organisation, addressed the gathering as chief guest. He emphasised the value of intellectual curiosity, skill development, mentorship, meaningful relationships, and grounded values as essential elements for constructing a robust foundation for personal and professional success.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijaysekhar Chellaboina extended a welcome to the new students, underscoring that beyond academic performance, the university places equal emphasis on fostering critical thinking and intellectual inquiry. "These attributes will equip you to navigate transformation, create solutions, and succeed in an evolving global landscape," he said.
Throughout the eight-day span, participants will engage in a structured programme encompassing collaborative sessions, group activities, artistic initiatives, campus tours, and reflective conversations. The schedule also includes mentorship opportunities with faculty members and interactions with senior students, fostering community connections and helping participants clarify their educational and career aspirations.
The programme incorporates themed celebrations to enhance engagement and create a sense of community among newcomers. These include Bollywood Day, Canvas Day, and Culture Day, alongside various recreational activities that promote creative expression and belonging.
A series of accomplished speakers from various professional domains will address the students. The roster includes RamG Vallath, a motivational speaker and educationist; Mukesh Choudhary, a cyber operations and information security consultant; Anjali Suneja, a POSH trainer and HR professional; and Kunal Agarwal, a craft product designer. Additional speakers will contribute insights from their respective fields.
