Khushali Kumar Leads Dance Anthem "Jalwa" From Wedding Comedy Dulhaniya Le Aaeegi

The production team behind Dulhaniya Le Aaeegi has released "Jalwa," a spirited new song designed to capture the festive spirit of Indian weddings and sangeet ceremonies. Featuring actress Khushali Kumar, the track combines traditional instrumentation with contemporary choreography to create what filmmakers hope will become a staple at wedding celebrations.

The song marks the second musical offering from the film, following the earlier release of "Kar Le Shaadi." Composed by Jazim Sharma, who also provides vocals alongside Suvarna Tiwari, "Jalwa" incorporates lyrics by J.P. Gangwar and a Punjabi hook by Ekam Maanuke. The production incorporates banjo work by Nasir and dholak by Rahul Katthak, with programming by Anshuman Sharma, creating a layered soundscape that blends traditional and modern elements.

Kumar expressed enthusiasm about the track's potential appeal. "When I first heard 'Jalwa', I recognized immediately that it contained everything needed for a wedding season favorite," she remarked. "The energy, vibrancy, and celebration of bridal confidence and joy are all there. The filming process was tremendously enjoyable, and I'm hopeful viewers will embrace it with the same enthusiasm we brought to its creation."

Director Akashaditya Lama emphasized how the song encapsulates the film's thematic direction. "The track truly embodies what Dulhaniya Le Aaeegi represents—vibrant, joyful, and entertaining," Lama stated. "Our intention was to create something that instantly energizes listeners and draws them to the dance floor. The combination of music, choreography, and Khushali's dynamic presence has produced something special. I'm confident this track has the potential to define wedding season music this year."

The film, produced by Siddharth Banerjee, Akashaditya Lama, and Vikas Aggarwal, assembles a diverse cast alongside Kumar, including established actors Piyush Mishra and Mahesh Manjrekar in substantial roles.

Dulhaniya Le Aaeegi arrives in cinemas nationwide on July 24, 2026.
