Hexaware and SmartRent Join Forces to Build AI-Powered Customer and Revenue Operations

Hexaware Technologies (NSE: HEXT) and SmartRent, Inc. (NYSE: SMRT) have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at reimagining SmartRent's core business operations through artificial intelligence. The partnership encompasses three key initiatives designed to modernize customer engagement, financial processes, and sales infrastructure.
The companies will focus first on revamping customer support through Voice AI technology. Hexaware will implement advanced voice agents alongside intelligent routing systems that unify interactions across voice, email, and chat channels. This integration is expected to elevate service standards and customer satisfaction levels for SmartRent's platform.
A second pillar involves establishing an adaptive bill-to-cash ecosystem. Hexaware will design and oversee a comprehensive suite of revenue operations tools that consolidate data, analytics, and workflows to improve cash collection cycles and overall financial performance.
The third component centers on modernizing SmartRent's sales processes. Hexaware will deploy Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced to streamline the lead-to-order pipeline, enabling faster quotation cycles, improved pricing controls, and comprehensive visibility across revenue streams.
"Today's competitive landscape demands enterprises to operate with speed and precision while delivering exceptional customer experiences," explained Eravi Gopan, President & Global Head – Technology, Products, and Platforms at Hexaware. "Our vision centers on creating an operating model where AI, technology, processes, and talent work in concert. This is precisely what we're establishing with SmartRent."
Suresh Kumar Bennet, Executive Vice President & Global Head – Business Process Services at Hexaware, added: "We're combining deep industry expertise with Voice AI capabilities, modernized systems, and reimagined workflows to create an operations platform that strengthens with each customer interaction while accelerating revenue growth and sustaining competitive differentiation."
Frank Martell, President and CEO of SmartRent, emphasized the customer-centric rationale for the partnership: "Our clients demand service that combines speed, intelligence, and dependability. This collaboration equips us with the operational sophistication and technical infrastructure necessary to meet those expectations across our entire customer base."
The partnership represents an effort to construct an integrated business model that merges customer experience management, revenue optimization, and AI-driven transformation into a unified growth platform.
