Emeritus Enterprise Accelerates Growth Through AI and Leadership Training Across India, APAC, and Middle East

Mumbai: Emeritus Enterprise, the corporate training arm of edtech company Eruditus, has witnessed a pronounced pivot toward agentic AI capabilities and executive development this financial year, reflecting a fundamental reshaping of how large organisations approach workforce transformation.

The division concluded FY26 by delivering more than 600 programs to enterprise clients worldwide, with over 80 percent concentrated on agentic AI and leadership training—a magnitude of demand shift that represents the most significant reorientation in corporate learning in recent memory. Across these initiatives, the division reached over 120,000 professionals globally throughout the year.

India emerged as the primary driver of this expansion, particularly for structured, multi-tiered AI training designed to address the distinct needs of various organisational levels—from operational staff through to executive leadership. The regional performance differed markedly across markets: while India prioritised breadth and rapid deployment, APAC concentrated on integrating AI into core business functions, the Middle East and Africa region emphasised building national-level AI competency, and European operations prioritised ensuring adoption aligned with regulatory requirements.

"Organisations have transitioned from ad-hoc, individual-focused training to integrated learning architectures that systematically develop workforce capabilities in sync with strategic objectives," explained Jawahir Morarji, President of Enterprise Business. "This year, we delivered more than 90 percent of our offerings through customised programs that combine instructional content, hands-on experience, and change management support to drive organisational transformation."

The program portfolio encompasses AI Strategy and Transformation, Agentic AI Deployment, AI-Powered Leadership, Executive AI Fluency, and Leading AI-Enabled Organisational Change. This breadth reflects genuine market demand across the corporate sector. Consequently, over 80 percent of Emeritus Enterprise's corporate partners have either established or are in the process of building dedicated AI Learning Academies, moving substantially beyond foundational training toward hands-on experimentation, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.

Women's participation showed notable momentum, with enrolments in this demographic increasing 30 percent year-over-year. Demand for AI capability development has also expanded significantly beyond technology departments, with sales, marketing, research, finance, human resources, and operations functions now representing critical areas for upskilling.

"We are observing two distinct demand streams," Morarji noted. "The first is strategic—organisations embedding AI into their leadership vision and corporate strategy. The second is operational—teams incorporating AI into products, internal workflows, and services delivered to clients. What is particularly noteworthy is how rapidly these two streams are converging. For FY27, we intend to intensify this convergence work while establishing stronger positions in US and European markets to fuel our next growth phase."

India maintained its position as the largest and fastest-growing market for enterprise skilling, followed by the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region, then APAC. Government collaboration has intensified in these territories as AI workforce development has become a national priority. The client base encompasses Global Capability Centres, multinational corporations, and Fortune 500 companies, particularly within banking and financial services, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors.

In APAC, the demand hierarchy placed Leadership and AI training at the forefront, followed by Business Management, Finance, and Digital Transformation initiatives. This pattern signals that the region is simultaneously building management depth alongside technical expertise. Manas Mainrai, Senior Vice President for Enterprise operations in India, APAC, and Europe, observed: "APAC presents one of the most complex operating environments we engage with. Each market operates at a distinct phase of AI maturity, making standardised approaches ineffective. What distinguishes this region is its preference for workforce development over workforce reduction. Enterprises throughout APAC are actively building their teams' capacity to operate effectively with AI, and we see strong momentum when programs are tailored to local skill requirements and business circumstances."

Eruditus has invested substantially in proprietary learning technology, including an AI Tutor bot and complementary AI-driven personas that guide learners and organisations throughout their educational experiences. These tools have achieved completion rates reaching 96 percent and user satisfaction scores of 90 percent. The Enterprise division currently represents approximately one-quarter of Eruditus's overall revenue, with company leadership projecting it will eventually reach parity with the consumer business within three to four years.
