Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district police held a comprehensive review meeting under the chairmanship of DIG Joel Davis to evaluate the state of crime prevention, law and order maintenance, road safety, and public security across the district.

District Superintendent of Police Akshansh Yadav, IPS, oversaw the proceedings, which brought together Additional Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Circle Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and other senior police officials from across the district.

The meeting encompassed an extensive assessment of crime prevention strategies and the overall security situation in the district. Participants discussed approaches to strengthen policing infrastructure and enhance public safety measures.

Focus on Surveillance and Road Safety

Officials identified accident-prone locations during the review and deliberated on strategies to enhance road safety in these areas. The discussion also covered plans to expand and strengthen the district's CCTV surveillance network.

The review examined security protocols at the Yadadri Devasthanam, including readiness for VIP security arrangements. Officials also assessed the performance of Bharosa Centres, which provide support services, and reviewed initiatives to combat cybercrime.

Technology-Driven Enforcement Measures

DIG Joel Davis directed officers to enhance both traffic management and crime detection capabilities by deploying advanced AI-enabled cameras along major highways throughout the district. The meeting concluded with instructions to modernise policing operations through technology-enabled surveillance systems and coordinated enforcement strategies.
