Mercedes-Benz Launches Exclusive Night Edition Models of GLE and GLS SUVs in India

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Night Edition variants of its GLE and GLS luxury SUVs in India, marking the introduction of two exclusive, limited-production models designed to set themselves apart through distinctive visual styling and carefully curated cabin features. These special editions represent part of a broader global limited series initiative and will be distributed in constrained volumes, emphasizing their exclusivity and appeal to collectors.

The announcement underscores India's significance as a major market for the German automaker, with the country ranking among Mercedes-Benz's top global performers for GLE and GLS sales. Both models have established themselves as the company's highest-selling luxury SUVs in the Indian market.

The Night Edition variants come with carefully selected design elements unavailable on standard models. The exterior palette includes Alpine Grey—a colour exclusive to the Night Edition—alongside Obsidian Black. Inside, owners will find black Nappa leather upholstery paired with Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim, both finishes restricted to these special editions.

Standard equipment on both Night Edition models includes a Head-Up Display. The GLE Night Edition receives an additional upgrade in the form of AIRMATIC suspension, enhancing its capabilities beyond the standard configuration.

Pricing for the Night Edition variants starts at Rs. 1.05 crore for the GLE 300d (ex-showroom, all-India), with the GLE 450 priced at Rs. 1.14 crore. The GLS lineup commands higher price points, with the GLS 450 positioned at Rs. 1.41 crore and the GLS 450d at Rs. 1.43 crore (ex-showroom, all-India).

The limited availability and exclusive configuration options reinforce the positioning of these Night Editions as distinctive offerings within Mercedes-Benz's luxury SUV portfolio.
